thiis lady is relly great, and without much a do, has seen the truth in person, as she stated, and she so qietly just gave the facts-it was a pleasure–Question; why are people so adamant not to ACCEPT the truth and prefer to side the Chamas- when their religion is to behead , including a woman, who do not stand by their RELIGIUOS?

What a brave woman you are Sheree. Thank you for your support. You raised excellent points that I as an Israeli cannot fathom why the West sides with the Palestinians. The only conclusion is that ignorance of the whole conflict is the main reason.

She sees and states the facts well as one would expect from a rational and unbiased person. But I think she sees the situation in too sunny a light for precisely that reason. She sees the Hamas as benighted but more as misguided than as what they are. The reality is that Hamas, ISIS, and the bulk of these groups are profoundly irrational, misogynistic, chauvinistic and intent on dragging the world back into a vision rooted in the 7th century. They completely reject the opportunities of the 21st century. It is not that they are dispossessed or impoverished, it is that they are fundamentally the enemies of modern civilization, the enemies of logic, science, reason, democracy, free enterprise, individual self determination, enemies to the very conceptions of limited government and liberty at the root of modern Western civilization. They will not be talked out of their ideology. They will not be bribed out of their ideology. They will not exchange their hatred of modernity in return for receipt of a better house or a modern car. They are enemies of modernity itself. And their activities will not cease until they are utterly defeated. And that defeat will not be achieved as long as Western governments act under Marquis de Queensbury rules of engagement while Hamas and their like act with no rules of engagement at all. This will be a long war, a war that will last until the West finally figures out that we have to deal with these barbarians with the full means necessary to defeat them.

thank you for the excellent summation and honest portrayal of the conflict.
our nz media presents a biased and false view based on the propaganda issued by the un democratic regime in Gaza, which seeks the destruction, will never recognize the existence of of the Jewish state (only democratic state in the region)
we know civilians are used as shields and indiscriminate rocket fire eminates from heavily populated settlements, with arms hidden in schools, places of worship, hospitals.
Israel can never win. If it does nothing, it’s own civilian population has rockets raining down on it. If it tries to stop it, it’s accused of crimes against humanity.
question?
what would happen if Israel unilaterally stopped defending itself?
answer: it would cease to exist
what would happen if the other side stopped fighting and recognized the right of Israel to exist?
answer: there would be a lasting peace, and the building of a rich prosperous state could begin.
